Ōmakau School, is a full primary school in Central Otago, New Zealand.

Over the decades the school community has diversified as we have welcomed students from a variety of backgrounds.

The Principal leads Ōmakau School, working with 3 other full time staff, 1 part-time teacher, teacher aides and school administration officer. 

Staff work collaboratively, sharing ideas and supporting each other.

A feature of the school is the strong links that exist between pupils and our wider community. 

As a school we value the close partnership with families and whānau to ensure that every one of our students thrive along their unique learning pathway.
