We aim for every child to be the best they can be and achieve to their potential. This is generally achieved through the programmes provided within the classroom. Teachers use assessment information to group students according to learning needs in reading, writing and mathematics. Teachers and students will also co-construct personal learning goals in these areas.

Sometimes there is a need to provide additional programmes to support the learning of individuals and groups of students. These programmes are provided dependent on resourcing and personnel. Teachers and management make the final decisions as to who would benefit from these programmes.

Some students require additional support with their learning. Programmes can generally be provided for within the classroom through teachers differentiating the programme and providing support within the curriculum area. Teachers identify students requiring support and may work with Teacher Aides under the guidance of the teacher, DP, Learning Support Teacher and/or outside agencies.
